For over 20 years, I have dedicated my life to cultivating leaders. From my work as a classroom teacher to my career as an administrator in independent schools, I have encouraged students and adults alike to think critically, engage deeply, and succeed boldly—all while cultivating community and connection.
This commitment to fostering bold leadership with heart permeates every aspect of the Interschool Leadership Institute for Educators of Color, which I founded in 2013. In this weeklong summer program, the next generation of leaders in independent schools develop core social-emotional competencies designed to radically transform their leadership abilities. I launched this institute and am committed to this work because I genuinely believe that all of us have potential to be trailblazers—charting new courses, creating new norms, and shattering glass ceilings. For women and professionals of color especially, opportunities for new possibilities in leadership abound.
As a consultant, I am committed to guiding each client on a leadership trajectory that is holistic and sustainable. Together, through comprehensive strategy development, we will navigate professional challenges at individual or team levels, determine effective paths for new growth, and identify clear ways to share your expertise widely—from resume optimization to visioning and realizing your dream career path.
